We bought the Kelly because we’d started looking at weed control and trash management, and were convinced that if we didn’t start doing some light mechanical tilling we’d run into resistance problems in summer sprays. The machine is doing a lovely job of mulching the soil down but also taking out those summer weeds. We’re getting a very good germination when sowing, with better seed/soil contact… we’re absolutely rapt with the job that it’s doing.
